Terms of Trade
PLEASE STUDY THESE TERMS OF TRADE as placing an order is held to be acceptance.
DELIVERIES:
Minimum order for carriage paid delivery is £150 for all branded products. Minimum order for carriage paid delivery is £300 for all bulk and 5kg commodities. However, those areas not specifically mentioned on the delivery schedule the minimum order is £300.
ORDERS:
Orders can be placed by telephone, fax or post.
Branded products can be ordered in 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 or full outers. When ordering mainly split cases please place your order 24hrs in advance of the schedule requirement.
DISCOUNT:
Discounts for bulk purchases of individual products, please contact the office.
COLLECTIONS:
Can be made from our warehouse. We require two working days notice.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
We reserve the right to alter prices without notice but changes are, by policy, kept to a strict minimum.
THE SALES OFFICE IS OPEN:
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 3.30pm
TERMS:
Our terms of trade are, proforma invoice or cash on delivery. Accounts can be opened after bank and trade references have been cleared.
Cheques may be accepted after bank and trade references have been cleared.
Re-presented or returned cheques will be charged at £15 each time.
We reserve the right not to accept orders.
All goods listed are sold subject to availability.
All goods remain our property until paid for.
Customers are required to sign for their goods and this signature acknowledges receipt of all items shown on the invoice in good condition. So please check carefully.
CLAIMS:
Claims procedure is as follows:
- All Claims must be made within 48 hrs.
- If goods need to be returned the office will raise a collection note. The driver will only be authorised to collect goods on that collection note.
- Price marked goods cannot be returned or credited.
- Goods ordered in error cannot be returned or credited.
- No claims for short deliveries will be accepted, unless the case count is noted as incorrect.
- No claims for short dates will be accepted unless they relate to the last delivery made.
Otherwise we reserve the right to dismiss the claim. Please have the invoice number to hand when making a claim as this will speed up the process.
